WELCOME
TO NEWCASTLE.

"everything on your doorstep."

Newcastle is the smallest big city in the UK – but don’t let the modest footprint of the city fool you. Newcastle has so much to offer, and everything is on your doorstep.

In Newcastle you’ll feel welcomed and comfortable the moment you arrive. Newcastle has a fantastic nightlife – it’s wallet-friendly, and you’re guaranteed to find new friends. The most popular spot is the Diamond Strip, where you’ll find the majority of clubs. Or, if you’re on the hunt for cocktails and sophistication, you’ll want to head over to Quayside.

"Incredible views of the city."

As well as cocktail bars, Quayside boasts an impressive selection of culture, music and arts venues – including the Sage and BALTIC, where you can take in incredible views of the city, and go to thought-provoking art exhibitions, all for free. If you’re looking for more hands-on fun, Newcastle is also home to boutique bowling alleys, live music venues, and the city’s namesake castle to explore.

There’s so much to see and do in this compact metropolis, but you can also always rely on your Vita Student building to give you space to knuckle down when you need it. We offer more facilities than any other student accommodation in Newcastle with movie rooms, onsite gyms, plenty of sociable seating and tons of study space to give all our residents the space to do their own thing.
