What happens if my flight is cancelled and I can't get to the UK?

Don't worry. If you are unable to travel to the UK because of any government-imposed travel bans in the UK or in your home country, you must let us know within 48 hours and we will discuss the options available to you.

What are Vita Student doing to ensure my safety?

Your health, safety and wellbeing are our number one priority when living at Vita Student. We have developed a comprehensive new Health Charter which outlines our approach here.

What happens if I need to quarantine?

If the government guidance requires you to quarantine for 14 days upon arrival to the UK, we have a specially designed service available to help you. Simply notify us of when you will be arriving and we will make arrangements to ensure your room is ready early. Subject to availability.

How will I be able to move in safely?

We've created a new contactless process for moving in this year which will enable you to complete the check-in process online before you arrive at the building. You will book a dedicated move in time to keep numbers down and ensure everyone can adhere to social distancing guidelines. Upon arrival you will simply collect your key and be shown to your room by one team member. Our video induction will then provide all of the information you need to get started at Vita Student.

What happens if my course is moved online?

If you have been notifed that your course has been cancelled altogether or moved completely online you must let us know within 48 hours and we will discuss the options available to you.

What happens if I can't get my Visa?

We completely understand and you're not the only one that hasn't received your grades or Visa yet. Get in touch with our Customer Engagement team to see how we can help you: customerengagement@vitastudent.com

What happens if I don't get my place at University?

If you don't get the place that you were expecting at university, please let us know within 48 hours and we will discuss the options available to you.

Can I change my contract length?

You are liable for the contract that you have signed at the point of booking but if you wish to extend the length of your contract or reduce the length of your contract, please get in touch with our Customer Engagement team:
customerengagement@vitastudent.com, and we will discuss your options.

Can I move in earlier than my contract start date?

In most cases - yes! Contact our friendly Customer Engagement team who will check when your room will be available from and get back to you to arrange your early move in.

Will I be able to use the hub spaces when I’m quarantining?

Unfortunately government guidance states that when quarantining you must remain in your studio for the full time period of isolation in order to reduce the risk of transmission to others. We have provided a range of services in our Quarantine package to ensure that you’re comfortable during this time.
