One of the best things to do in York is to go on a guided tour, where you can unfold the city’s story with a group of friends. At night, you can even go on a ghost tour to uncover the spookier side of York. York also has lots of pubs, restaurants and shops to discover – go to the Shambles and visit one of the oldest shopping destinations in Britain, or visit the more modern spot at Coppergate Shopping Centre.
