League of Legends lovers. Counter-Strike connoisseurs. Apex aficionados. This is an announcement you’ll really play into.
Vita Student is thrilled to officially announce our partnership with National Student Esports (NSE).
Gaming means a lot to people, especially if you’ve grown up calling the digital world your second home. Joining forces with NSE means we’re bringing the gaming scene into the real world, transforming our Hub spaces into off-screen arenas.
Who is NSE?
NSE are the UK’s largest grassroots student gaming community who run the British University Esports Championship.
With over 2,200 competing teams from over 115 universities across the country, the NSE community continues to flourish every academic year.
We know that the university experience can be overwhelming. Gaming gives students an outlet. An escape. A way of meeting other like-minded students, and connecting over a joint passion. The space that celebrates identity, and sees no idea as too imaginative.
Together, we’re creating meaningful experiences for students, and forging spaces where these relationships can grow. We’re really excited to bring these moments even closer to our students.
Vita Student X NSE Invitational
Our very first event with NSE back in April was a real hit.
On Saturday 25th April 2026, 20 talented student gamers came together to compete in our Warwick Cannon Park building. 25 other NSE community members joined to witness the day, and cheer on their friends. By facilitating the event, we were able to give students the space to meet, connect, and feel more tangibly a part of their community.
“Vita Student was a great venue. Really nice building, friendly staff, and good vibes throughout the whole day.” James, a Manchester Metropolitan University student who attended the event told us.
“The chance to play in-person really brings the community together. Being able to put a name to faces and get to know others was such a fun experience.” Elliot added.
“The amenities were genuinely the best I’ve ever seen from a student building. I’m jealous I don’t live here.” another Invitational attendee added.
Love to get involved in our next gaming event, and have the opportunity to bring your online friendships to life?
Day-one gamer or picking up the controller for the first time, this is something that all of our Vita community can get involved in.
