    Yes, all of our buildings have on-site printing facilities. When you arrive, you will receive an email to set up your printing account – once you have confirmed you can add credit to your account and start printing.

    Rooms at Vita Student already include kitchen appliances like a fridge, microwave, oven and hob.

    While Vita Student rooms include all main kitchen appliances and furniture, you’ll need to bring your own utensils and kitchenware, kettle and toaster, bedroom furnishings, such as towels, duvets, and pillows. However, if you’ve booked a room with us you can order one of our Vita Student kitchen and bedding packs, which delivers all the essentials to your room before you arrive.

    Unfortunately, there is no car parking at this building. However, our central location provides easy access to public transport and local universities.

    Studios come with a standard double bed. You can upgrade to a king-size bed with certain room types.

    Balfour and McDonald Road tram stops are situated within a 2-minute walk of Vita Student Iona Street, giving you quick and easy access into Edinburgh’s city centre.

    Vita Student Iona Street is surrounded by the best shops, cafes and restaurants in Edinburgh’s Leith area. The nearest Lidl supermarket is just a 3-minute walk.

    Vita Student Iona Street is a 20-minute journey to Edinburgh University’s main campus.

    You need to be over 17 and a full-time university student in the UK or Spain to live at Vita Student.

    No matter which route you take, it is around a 35-40 minute journey by car from Edinburgh Airport to our accommodation at Iona Street – Traffic-dependent, of course!

    The tram from Newhaven takes around 42 minutes, with 17 stops going straight through Edinburgh’s scenic city centre. Our Iona Street accommodation is then just a short 6-minute walk from the Balfour Street stop.

    Getting the bus? Catch the Airport Express bus from Edinburgh Airport to the city centre. The journey takes approximately 24 minutes and is just five stops to Princes Street in the heart of the new town.

    From here, take the Seafield bus for 16 minutes (8 stops) to the Albert Street stop – we are located 3 minutes away.

    We offer a complimentary Airport Pick Up Service to the value of £250 for anyone who books a Deluxe or Ultimate room.
