WELCOME
TO NOTTINGHAM.

"A city that breathes creativity."

In the heart of England, Nottingham is known for its role in the British legend of Robin Hood so you’ll find a modern city with lots of medieval touches. Never run out of places to explore with the Lace Market, famous hilltop Nottingham Castle Museum and Art Gallery, rebuilt many times since the medieval era or the vibrant West Bridgford neighbourhood brimming with cafes and bars.

Nottingham may be a small city, but don’t be fooled that it’s quiet. With one of the youngest populations in the UK, it is known for its incredible student culture and exciting vibe.

Having such a young and diverse crowd means that the city breathes creativity. By day, head down to some of the incredible art galleries in the city like Nottingham Contemporary or Backlit Gallery and unfold the city’s story through its local artists.

"a legendary status for nightlife."

Over 20% of the city is occupied by public parks and gardens – so living here means you get the best of both worlds. Just a few minutes away from Nottingham Trent University is the city’s oldest park, The Arboretum. Spend your afternoons reading, or relaxing between lectures, taking a well-deserved break from studying.

When the sun goes down, however, is when Nottingham really comes alive. This city has a legendary status when it comes to nightlife. Whether you’re looking for live music, casual drinks, or to dance all night in the club, Nottingham has it all. Nottingham’s nightlife is so good, that it has received twelve “Purple Flag” awards – recognising not only the excellent standard of night culture, but also the safety and wellbeing of its partygoers.

Vita Student sits in the centre of the city, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in everything Nottingham has to offer.
